How I work
I provide custom carpentry, cabinetry, and renovation services. I promise trustworthy customer service, starting with easy two-way communication from beginning to end. And I give my clients realistic schedules designed to accommodate their immediate goals and busy lives.
I often team up with Renaissance man Tom Payne. Tom brings over 30 years of experience in the high-end residential carpentry and building business as a founding partner at Payne/Bouchier in Boston.
Whether solo or partnered with Tom, the mission for every Gentleman Woodworks project is to improve the livability, lovability, functionality, and value of my client's home.
I’M braD pruett
I graduated from art school in 1984, moved to Boston, and started a creative career at one of Boston's top advertising agencies. Soon after, despite the distraction of a demanding job, I bought a Jamaica Plain triple-decker with a friend and launched a 3-year gut renovation. This odyssey also launched my passion for problem solving, tearing down, and building up.
Now, after a full career as an art director and creative director I'm following my true calling.
